I am currently in the final year of my Computer Sciene degree and I am super excited to be joining the work force after graduation. My senior design project is a "Rate my Dorm" website where future and current college students can view the dorms available to them, how other students rated them, and get matched with an ideal living area based on their preferences. Within CS, my interests include both general software/product development as well as some machine learning. The summer after my sophomore year I was part of a research program at Johns Hopkins University where I studied some natural language processing (NLP) and fine-tuning ML algorithms. That was what first got me interested in NLP, and this semester I am finally able to take a course on it to get a better understanding of the basics. This past summer, I had a virtual internship at Amazon where I worked on building an analytics service for payment disbursement data. Aside from computer science, I have minors in both Psychology and the French language which I would love to be able to incorporate into my career somehow. Finally, in my free time, I like to bike, go to art museums, and explore the city!

In this project I built a circuit connecting an Arduino to a heartbeat monitor, an LCD screen, a clock, and an environment sensor. Then I implemented different types of communication to create a command-line interface allowing the user to find out different information and statistics from the sensors.
